Kenner
Creadores y fabricantes de la línea de Star Wars, esta línea es la que más vemos debido a que son los que más fabricaban, ¿Lógico no?, las variantes que conocemos como el Blue Snaggletooth no son debido a alguna edición especial, simplemente en este ejemplo para fabricarlo se envió una foto solo con el rostro y los diseñadores imaginaron cómo sería de cuerpo completo, después con instrucciones más precisas llegaron a una versión más similar al de la pantalla, detalles de tamaño de ojos o alguna diferencia de color en accesorios no era más que cada producción, cada tiraje o fábrica no ponía exactamente la misma cantidad de pintura o la misma mezcla exacta y eso creaba un tono distinto, esto es solo un pequeño ejemplo.

Lili Ledy
En México fabricó algunas de las figuras de la línea vintage, siendo esta una de las más buscadas en el mundo ya que se tomó la libertad de crear y adaptar cada figura o accesorio, siendo el único en el mundo donde el jawa tenía una capucha removible, o un emperador con un bastón de chirpa pintado de negro por mencionar algunos ejemplos, además del tipo de plástico y colores muy distinguibles entre figuras de otras fábricas.

MiM
Made in México, algunas figuras que aparecieron en empaques Kenner con el “Made in Mexico”, hasta donde se solo hay especulaciones ya que se desconoce si esto era por qué se fabricaban en la fábrica mexicana Lili Ledy o la fábrica de General Mills ubicada en Tijuana la cual NO es Lili Ledy, entonces simplemente podríamos decir que MiM no es garantía de ser Lili Ledy. (Mención a estas siglas para despejar alguna duda sobre si la fábrica de Tijuana es considerada Lili Ledy, pues no lo es aunque aún considero hay dudas por resolver a ciencia cierta de que está dentro del empaque MiM).
Glasslite
En Brasil se encargó de fabricar algunas figuras como Luke Farmboy, Vader, R2 o 3PO, al igual que algunas figs de la serie Droids como Vlix, las figs fabricadas en Brasil, son buscadas por los coleccionistas de muchos países por su diferencia y autenticidad hasta en sus accesorios únicos, estas figuras son difíciles de encontrar aún en ese país y muy valoradas en todo el mundo.

Meccano
Hablemos de Francia, aquí solo se distribuyó, no se fabricó, por lo tanto no hay como tal figuras meccano, la única variante que podrías comentar sería los cartones, los cuales son muy buscados por lo mismo y por ese logo piramidal de “La Guerre des Etoiles”, se sabe que hubo casos de figs encontradas en su mayoría en empaques franceses por lo cual se les dice meccano, pero recordamos que meccano no fabricó alguna figura.

Clipper
Fue una fábrica que distribuyó en países como Holanda la línea de Star Wars, como tal no hay variantes en estas figuras, al igual que otras distribuciones, para contar con una legítima figura distribuida por clipper, esta es por qué viene sellada en su cartón original con el logo agregado de Clipper, pero dentro del empaque está una figura kenner.

Harbert
Ésta fue la encargada de distribuir las figuras de Star Wars en Italia, como tal las figuras no poseen ninguna diferencia ya que son figuras kenner enviadas a este país para su distribución, aunque al ser empacadas en aquel país el empaque con el logo “Guerre Stellari” es el buscado por los coleccionistas ya que es la única variante que puedes encontrar en este país.

Palitoy
Aquí sólo se empacaron y distribuyeron las figuras Kenner de Star Wars, Palitoy no fabricó figuras, al igual que meccano en estos empaques con el logo Palitoy se encontraron figuras por ejemplo No Coo que en su mayoría se distribuían en esos empaques por lo cual se les llamó palitoy, aunque se sabe que son figuras kenner que también encontrabas en empaques de este mismo y tal vez en menor cantidad, se sabe de figuras Lili ledy encontradas en empaques palitoy lo cual comprueba solo el empaquetado por Palitoy.

Parker
En Alemania está fue la encargada de la distribución de figuras de starwars, de hecho las comercializadas en ese país o al menos de las primeras en llegar, literalmente llegaba figuras ya empacadas de kenner o por palitoy y se vendían en Alemania, por lo que no hay variantes alemanas que debas buscar.

PBP
Poch Borras Palouzie se unen para comercializar la línea de starwars, en la época de las figs conocidas como poch solo se ensambló y pintaron figuras kenner y empacaron en cartones con el logo Poch y después en la etapa conocida como pbp, estas ya fueron fabricadas en España, por eso podemos encontrar variantes de las figuras que produjo como el conocido y mal llamado Boba trilogo ya que este fue fabricado por pbp con cicatriz en pata derecha y un color más claro y enviado para empaquetar en un cartón trilogo.

Trilogo
Lo mencionó por qué hay personas que consideran que trilogo fue una fábrica, lo cual no es así, solo se trata de un empaque que contiene en 3 idiomas distintos el logo, en estos empaque se metía figuras como se podía por eso encuentras figuras empacadas con accesorios distintos a los que comúnmente veías antes, el antes mencionado Boba se empacaba en este y era una fig PBP. (Mención a esta no fabrica debido a la confusión de considerar trilogo como una fábrica productora de una variante llamada trilogo).
Toltoys
Ésta juguetera australiana fue la encargada de distribuir las figuras de starwars por aquellos lados como Nueva Zelanda o malasia, al igual que otras que sólo distribuyeron, la única variante que puedes encontrar es en los cartones por el logo de Toltoys.

Basa
Basa fue la encargada de distribuir en Perú, como tales eran figuras importadas, figuras kenner que la única distinción era el sticker agregado con la letra B, aunque para la línea del Regreso del Jedi el sticker fue retirado, por lo tanto no hay variantes únicas que buscar en estas figuras.
Takara
Una de las compañías japonesas por la que en aquel país disfrutaron de estos juguetes, en las primeras figuras distribuidas allá eran importadas, ósea kenner, aunque hay que mencionar que esta empresa fabricó a su manera a Vader, C3PO y Stormtrooper y fáciles de reconocer por qué en su pata dice Japón y unidas por un tornillo de cruz en la espalda, además que también fabricaron el R2 SI ese monito que camina si le das cuerda, también produjo una línea de figuras de 8 pulgadas con escultura original de las cuales soy totalmente ignorante, sobre las variantes mencionadas fabricadas por Takara, créeme es un reto buscarlas encontrarlas y traer el cambio suficiente en la bolsa si es que te las encuentras.

Popy
Popy es la Segunda japonesa, está perteneciente a Bandai, las cuales distribuyeron figuras kenner en Japón, pero empacadas de una manera original y lo cual las hace atractivas, venían en baggie y se metían en una cajita, así como un jarabe, una cajita rectangular que da una vista increíblemente distinta a cualquiera de otra parte del mundo, además de que debías saber japonés para entender todo lo que ahí dice, muy buscadas y cotizadas también por su autenticidad de empaque.
Tsukuda
Tercera japonesa encargada de distribuir ya la línea del Regreso del Jedi, solo importó y vendió figuras Kenner agregando en la parte de atrás del cartón un sticker negro con las letras en japonés.

Toptoys
En argentina fueron distribuidos los primeros doce por Toptoys, la cual solo importó estas, por lo cual no deberás buscar nada distinto a una Kenner, pero después fabricó 7 figuras, Chirpa, Yoda o Vader por mencionar algunas, estas fueron fabricadas de un modo similar a los llamados bootlegs, por lo cual no son muy detalladas y no tiene hoyitos en las paturrias y son más enanitos, los accesorios parecen a simple vista boltleg o piratas, se sabe por ejemplo que de Yoda el cinturón es un reto ya que casi se rompía al mirarlo, estos pocos monos son buscados, deseados y cotizados en el mundo.

Kenner
Creators and manufacturers of the Star Wars line, this is the line we see the most because they were the ones who produced the most—logical, right? The variants we know, such as the Blue Snaggletooth, are not due to any special edition. In this example, to produce it, only a photo of the face was sent, and the designers imagined what the full body would look like. Later, with more precise instructions, they arrived at a version more similar to what appeared on screen. Details such as eye size or slight differences in accessory colors were simply due to each production run—each batch or factory did not apply exactly the same amount of paint or the same exact mixture, creating a different tone. This is just a small example.

Lili Ledy
In Mexico, they manufactured some of the figures from the vintage line, making this one of the most sought-after lines in the world, as they took the liberty of creating and adapting each figure or accessory. They were the only ones in the world to produce a Jawa with a removable hood, or an Emperor with a Chirpa staff painted black, to mention a few examples, in addition to the type of plastic and very distinguishable colors compared to figures from other factories.

MiM
Made in Mexico. Some figures appeared in Kenner packaging with “Made in Mexico.” As far as we know, there are only speculations, since it is unknown whether this was because they were manufactured in the Mexican Lili Ledy factory or in the General Mills factory located in Tijuana, which is NOT Lili Ledy. Therefore, we can simply say that MiM is not a guarantee of being Lili Ledy. (Mention of these initials to clear up doubts about whether the Tijuana factory is considered Lili Ledy—it is not, although I still believe there are unresolved questions about what exactly is inside MiM packaging).
Glasslite
In Brazil, they were responsible for manufacturing figures such as Luke Farmboy, Vader, R2, or 3PO, as well as some figures from the Droids line such as Vlix. Figures manufactured in Brazil are sought after by collectors worldwide due to their differences and authenticity, even in their unique accessories. These figures are difficult to find even in Brazil and highly valued worldwide.

Meccano
Let’s talk about France. Here, figures were only distributed, not manufactured. Therefore, there are no actual Meccano figures. The only variant worth mentioning is the cardbacks, which are highly sought after for that pyramidal “La Guerre des Etoiles” logo. It is known that some figures were found mostly in French packaging, which is why they are called Meccano, but remember that Meccano did not manufacture any figures.

Clipper
This was a factory that distributed the Star Wars line in countries such as the Netherlands. As such, there are no variants in these figures. As with other distributors, to have a legitimate Clipper-distributed figure, it must come sealed on its original cardback with the added Clipper logo—but inside the packaging is a Kenner figure.

Harbert
This company was responsible for distributing Star Wars figures in Italy. As such, the figures have no differences, as they are Kenner figures sent to this country for distribution. However, since they were packaged there, the packaging with the “Guerre Stellari” logo is sought after by collectors, as it is the only variant you can find in this country.

Palitoy
Here, only Kenner Star Wars figures were packaged and distributed. Palitoy did not manufacture figures. As with Meccano, No COO figures were found in these packages, which is why they were called Palitoy, although it is known that they are Kenner figures that you could also find in Kenner packaging, perhaps in smaller quantities. Lili Ledy figures have also been found in Palitoy packaging, which confirms only the packaging process by Palitoy.

Parker
In Germany, this company was responsible for distributing Star Wars figures. In fact, the figures sold in that country—or at least the first ones to arrive—literally came already packaged by Kenner or Palitoy and were sold in Germany. Therefore, there are no German variants to look for.

PBP
Poch Borras Palouzie joined forces to commercialize the Star Wars line. During the era of the figures known as Poch, Kenner figures were only assembled and painted, then packaged on cardbacks with the Poch logo. Later, during the era known as PBP, these figures were manufactured in Spain, which is why we can find variants produced by them, such as the well-known and misnamed Boba trilogo, since this figure was manufactured by PBP with a scar on the right leg and a lighter color, then sent to be packaged on a trilogo cardback.

Trilogo
Imention this because some people believe Trilogo was a factory, which is not the case. It is simply packaging that contains the logo in three different languages. Figures were packaged in these however possible, which is why you find figures with accessories different from what you commonly saw before. The previously mentioned Boba was packaged in this and was a PBP figure. (Mention of this non-factory due to the confusion of considering Trilogo as a factory producing a variant called Trilogo).
Toltoys
This Australian toy company was responsible for distributing Star Wars figures in places such as New Zealand or Malaysia. As with others that only distributed, the only variant you can find is on the cardbacks due to the Toltoys logo.

Basa
Basa was responsible for distribution in Peru. These were imported figures—Kenner figures whose only distinction was the added sticker with the letter B. However, for the Return of the Jedi line, the sticker was removed, so there are no unique variants to look for in these figures.
Takara
One of the Japanese companies through which people in that country enjoyed these toys. In the earliest figures distributed there, they were imported—meaning Kenner. However, it must be mentioned that this company manufactured its own versions of Vader, C3PO, and Stormtrooper, easily recognizable because their foot says Japan and they are held together by a cross screw on the back. They also manufactured the R2—YES, that little guy that walks when you wind him up. They also produced a line of 8-inch figures with original sculpts, about which I am completely ignorant. Regarding the variants mentioned that were manufactured by Takara, believe me, it is a challenge to search for them, find them, and bring enough money in your pocket if you ever come across them.

Popy
Popy is the second Japanese company, belonging to Bandai, which distributed Kenner figures in Japan, but packaged in an original way that makes them very appealing. They came in baggies and were placed inside a small box, almost like a medicine bottle—an elongated rectangular box that gives an incredibly different look compared to any other part of the world. Additionally, you needed to know Japanese to understand everything written on it. These are highly sought after and valued for the authenticity of their packaging.
Tsukuda
The third Japanese company in charge of distributing the Return of the Jedi line. They only imported and sold Kenner figures, adding a black sticker with Japanese lettering on the back of the card.

Toptoys
In Argentina, the first twelve figures were distributed by Toptoys, which only imported these, so you should not look for anything different from a Kenner figure. But later, they manufactured 7 figures: Chirpa, Yoda, or Vader, to mention a few. These were manufactured in a way similar to what are known as bootlegs, meaning they are not very detailed, have no peg holes in their feet, and are smaller. Their accessories look at first glance like bootleg or pirate pieces. It is known, for example, that Yoda’s belt is a challenge because it almost broke just by looking at it. These few figures are sought after, desired, and highly valued worldwide.
