Grand Moff Tarkin
En las coleeciones originales Kenner, nunca se lanzó la figura de Moff Tarkin (Recomendado: ¿Cómo habrá sido la selección de personajes Kenner?). En esta idea de continuidad de juguetes, el gran Moff Tarkin, habiendo sobrevivido sorprendentemente a la destrucción de la “Estrella de la Muerte”, intentaría liderar la reconstrucción del Imperio. Para lograr su objetivo, operó desde un puesto de avanzada imperial empleando droides de ataque imperiales (“Imperial Attack Droid A“, “Imperial Attack Droid B” y “Imperial Attack Droid C“), un “Imperial Sentry Droid“) y nuevos en vehículos (“AT-AT” y “AT-IC”).
En la presentación, no hicieron ningún tipo de prototipo o esquema, sólo presentaron el rostro de Peter Cushing sobre el personaje.
Hasbro lanzó por primera vez la figura de Moff Tarkin en el año 1996 para la colección The Power of the Force. Luego, en 2019 lanzó la figura de Tarkin en formato vintage bajo la colección Retro y en promoción junto con un relanzamiento del juego de mesa “Escape from Death Star”.
Escape from Death Star fue el primer juego de mesa de Star Wars que se lanzó al mercado, casi a la misma vez que la película original en 1977 y sólo en Estados Unidos.
En este juego, Luke Skywalker, la Princesa Leia, Han Solo y Chewbacca necesitan de nuestra ayuda, están atrapados en el compactador de basura y tienen que conseguir salir de allí y llegar a la Base Rebelde.

In the original Kenner collections, the figure of Moff Tarkin was never released (Recommended: How might Kenner’s character selection have been?). In this idea of toy continuity, Grand Moff Tarkin—having surprisingly survived the destruction of the “Death Star”—would attempt to lead the reconstruction of the Empire. To achieve his goal, he operated from an Imperial outpost employing Imperial attack droids (“Imperial Attack Droid A”, “Imperial Attack Droid B” and “Imperial Attack Droid C”), an “Imperial Sentry Droid” and new vehicles (“AT-AT” and “AT-IC”).
In the presentation, they did not create any type of prototype or sketch; they only presented Peter Cushing’s face placed over the character.
Hasbro released the Moff Tarkin figure for the first time in 1996 for the The Power of the Force collection. Later, in 2019, it released the Tarkin figure in vintage format under the Retro collection, as a promotion together with a reissue of the board game “Escape from Death Star”.
