Robin Hood y el Multiverso Kenner
La Colección
En el año 1991, Kenner lanzó la línea Robin Hood, Príncipe de los Ladrones, debido al estreno de un nuevo filme asociado a Robin y su banda a cargo de Kevin Costner. A pesar de que la película fue un éxito, Kenner al parecer se tomó a la ligera el desarrollo de sus figuras, ya que todo fue hecho en base a moldes de líneas ya existentes, desarrollando sólo algunos cambios a la escultura y haciendo caras nuevas para sus personajes y accesorios. Se produjeron en total 8 personajes.
La gran mayoría de estos personajes se hicieron en base a los moldes de la línea Super Powers de 1985, aunque también se utilizaron moldes de la línea de Robocop y del Return of The Jedi de Star Wars.
Robin Hood con Arco y el con Vallesta, reutilizan el cuerpo de Green Arrow, sin la articulación de las rodillas e incluso en el cinturón se nota la letra “G”.
Lex Luthor ha sido reutilizado bajo el personaje del Sheriff de Nottingham. La cabeza del sheriff es la de Chainsaw de la serie Kenner de 1989 para Robocop. Los brazos del Sheriff son obtenidos desde Green Arrow.
El Pequeño Juan reutiliza el torso de Hawkman y las piernas de Batman.
Will Scarlett reutiliza el torso de Robin y las piernas de Desaad.
Aseem reutiliza el torso de Shazam, los brazos de Green Arrow y las piernas de Steppenwolf.
El Fraile Tuck reutiliza gran parte de la escultura de un Guardia Gamorreano de Star Wars.
Sobre los playset o sets de juego, se produjeron 4, en que sólo dos de estos fueron totalmente originales para la serie. Para dos set grandes de juego, reutilizaron tres vehículos y playsets construidos para la serie Return of the Jedi y Power of The Force de Star Wars.
Para el playset del bosque de Sherwood se reutilizó el playset de la Villa de Ewoks lanzada en el año 1985 en la serie Return of The Jedi.

Quitándole el cráneo del techo al Ewok Battle Wagon, lanzado en el 85 bajo la colección Power of The Force, y reemplazándolo por la Catapulta Ewok del mismo año, pero de la colección Return of The Jedi, más algunos otros ajustes, se logró obtener un Battle Wagon para Robin Hood.

Los otros dos set de juegos fueron el Net Launcher y el Bola Bomber, que se generaron para esta colección.

The Collection
In 1991, Kenner released the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves line, tied to the premiere of the new film starring Kevin Costner as Robin and his band. Although the movie was a success, Kenner seems to have taken a rather light approach to the development of its figures, since everything was based on molds from already existing lines, with only minor sculpting changes and new head sculpts created for the characters and accessories. A total of 8 characters were produced.
The vast majority of these characters were made using molds from the 1985 Super Powers line, although molds from the Robocop line and from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi were also used.
Robin Hood with Bow and Robin Hood with Crossbow reuse the body of Green Arrow, without knee articulation, and even the letter “G” can be seen on the belt.
Lex Luthor was reused as the Sheriff of Nottingham. The Sheriff’s head is that of Chainsaw from Kenner’s 1989 Robocop line. The Sheriff’s arms come from Green Arrow.
Little John reuses Hawkman’s torso and Batman’s legs.
Will Scarlett reuses Robin’s torso and Desaad’s legs.
Azeem reuses Shazam’s torso, Green Arrow’s arms, and Steppenwolf’s legs.
Friar Tuck reuses most of the sculpt of a Star Wars Gamorrean Guard.
Regarding the playsets, four were produced, of which only two were completely original to the series. For the two large playsets, Kenner reused three vehicles and play environments previously created for the Return of the Jedi and Power of the Force Star Wars lines.
For the Sherwood Forest playset, the Ewok Village playset released in 1985 for the Return of the Jedi line was reused.

By removing the skull from the roof of the Ewok Battle Wagon, released in 1985 under the Power of the Force line, and replacing it with the Ewok Catapult from the same year but from the Return of the Jedi line — along with a few additional adjustments — Kenner managed to create a Battle Wagon for the Robin Hood line.
